New Group Heat Transfer Method Engineer appointed

Jonathan Murphy has been employed as Group Heat Transfer Method Engineer. Jonathan will be reporting to Jean-Baptiste Leydet, Group Simulation Manager. 

Jonathan has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a  Bachelor of Engineering Honors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Dublin Institute of Technology. Prior to TitanX he worked as a lecturer, researcher and consultant at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Here, besides supervising numerous engineering and CFD projects, he worked as a fluid mechanics and heat transfer laboratory supervisor. Prior to working at the Dublin Institute of Technology, Jonathan was an engineer at Anvil Iron Works.   His expertise includes fluid dynamics, heat transfer and numerical methods.

Jonathan will help us strengthen our simulation capabilities by maintaining and developing accurate, robust and efficient calculation methods for CFD and Heat Transfer. In addition, he will  support Advanced Engineering projects with custom calculations.

Construction of the Brazil facility begins in Jaguariuna

TitanX starts operations in Brazil
This past November 2011 TitanX Brazil was registered under the name TitanX Refrigeração de Motores, LTDA. Groundbreaking for the production facility is expected for early February in the city of Jaguariúna, Brazil, located northeast of Sao Paulo.
